SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

For TARGE 2008 a special 28mm figure has been commissioned by the club.  The figure, holding a targe, will be issued free to the first 200 entrants at the desk.  A small number of figures may also be issued to the participating clubs.

Barry Hilton, Principal Judge - League of Augsburg, League of Gentlemen Wargamers, a major influence in wargaming.
Jed Harbidge-Rose - One of the leading lights in the Leuchars Wargames Club and former chairman of the RAF Wargames Association.
Brian Murray - With forty odd years of modelling experience, Brian is a prominent member of East Neuk Modelling Club.
Bob McLeish - Former member of Dundee Skirmishers and Kirriemuir Wargames Club, founding member of Kirklees Crusaders, wargaming for 25 years.
Ian McDonald - Started wargaming in 1971 at the ripe old age of ten.  Joined Aberdeen Wargames Club in 1977 and has been a long term member of the committee.
Our panel of five judges have over 150 years of experience in wargaming and modelling - and not one of them looks over.........

Last year at TARGE 2007 we awarded a special cup for the first time.  This was for services to wargames and the first ever recipient was author Charles Grant.  The winner for 2008 has already been selected and informed.  He is ... wait and see.

A brand new trophy in the form of an authentic full size TARGE will be awarded annualy at the discretion of the club committee
