You are a brave man if you take Hobbits Cammie. Ok you have a treeman (maybe 2) but the rest of your guys will be troll chow. And any team that has a star player by the name of Puggy Baconbreath is beneath contempt.
(See the trash talk has started already!)
The Dark Elves look forward to seeing some of the Hobs on the sacrificial altar
As u have already displayed very well, dark elves are crap
I wanna play haflings cus its something totaly different, iim use to the stand and whack guys, i hav pland for a necromantic team so thats sorta semi agile dudes, i just need the run away pansy boys that get stomped on and as i wont EVER play wood elfs 'obbits it is
Plus i like bad odds, gives u something to work toward, who wants to play if they know they are going to win
ah now then cammie, if you want to use halflings as runners then u have a problem as they're only movement 5! what u need to do is get a treeman, and use him to lob halflings up the pitch or at enemy players - its the only way u'll kill anyone!

Move 5 is damn good after playing dwarfs!!
What i plan to do is make most of the halflings and a treeman get in the way whild the other tree makes 'obbits fly

Totally out of date, I've been locked out of the forum for a good couple months for some strange, unknown reason. Yes I'd be willing to set up my Skaven team

I think the feeling is that we should try and get some games kicked off on Sunday 28 March.
Idea is that can play their game and still have time to do other things that Sunday if they wished.
I will think through the mechanics but the plan would be depending on the number of players for everyone to play each other once and then have the top 4 or 8 players depending on numbers go through to a knock out stage.
I will confirm team values etc shortly but certainly anyone interested in taking part should pm me so I can get idea of numbers

OK I have been underwhelmed with the number of people PM'ing me about taking part in a Blood Bowl league in fact I've heard nothing so I'm assuming people didn't read the last post properly.
As I have no idea of how many people want to take part I can't really design a league format at this stage but if people do wish to take part then the following rules will apply.
Starting Team Value will be 1 million gold.
Any teams from the current Competition Rules Pack as posted on the GW web page together with the 3 semi official teams of Slann, Underworld Pact and Chaos Pact.
Each coach should produce a team list that I can retain and update as games progress.
Each coach should give their team a name and if they wish can also name their players.
Each figure should be clearly identifiable, ie, if it is not a GW figure then the model should be representative of the player's role in the team, eg, blitzer, catcher and so on
Any gold in the initial team build can be banked for future purchases. Remember after your initial purchases re-rolls cost double their original value.
Gold in the treasury at the start of the match can be used to buy inducements, star players and, depending how the league is going, Special Play Cards.
Any Star players bought as inducements, if not official GW figure, should be clearly identifiable as the particular star player, so for example don't turn up with a Goblin figure and expect him to represent Morg N' Thorg.
During the games it will be the coach's responsibility to keep track of which players, complete a successful pass, cause injuries and score touchdowns for the purpose of accumulating star player points (SPP's). Injuries caused by fouling and pushing players into the crowd do not count towards SPP's
Any players eligible for rolls on the skill table will need to be verified by the League Commissioner (ie me) and if I'm not available will need to be verified by another 2 players in the league.
Any player who has had a skill/ stat increase must have this noted on their roster sheet and at the start of any match unless it is obvious to the opposing player which model has the upgrade then the coach must confirm the identity of the upgraded player and the skill/ stat increase(s) it has.
Games where possible to be played at the club but if players can arrange their games at home or elsewhere as long as they keep an accurate record of the outcome then that is fine. Any results can be PM'd to me on this forum.
If enough coaches enter then I would propose asking the club committee to consider donating funds to purchase a trophy.
Wherever possible coaches should bring in addition to their team, playing field, dug out templates and BB dice and some method of keeping a note of their score and re-rolls and a ball.
Teams should preferably be painted but I'll let you away with unpainted figs to begin with, but after a few weeks I may impose a small fine on a team that remains unpainted.
Any questions please contact me here but I would be looking to kick off things on Sunday in between taking part in the Buchan lads' game which I all recommend you take part in.
So if you have read this and do want to take part PM me!!!

Well I have gone through the elf team and what I have is
4 lineman
3 catchers
2 blitzers
1 thrower
1 kicker I think.
Its a wood elves team an all I need is to find the stats.
Any ideas.

Well a couple of more club members expressed an interest in playing in the league on Sunday past.
So can I encourage all who have so far taken part or wish to take part to try and match up against each other outwith club meetings as it is going to take way too long to try and play these games just at club meetings (I won't be at the club now untilm probably the end of August).
If you do manage to organise some matches at home then post the results here and I can collate them.
Remember always though to keep a note of which players score, cause casualties, suffer casualties, keep a note of gold generated at the end of each game and the gold spent on new players, inducements etc

Well you can pretty much count me in, Ian taught me the rules and I remember most of them :P I think he also said he would loan me his Lizardmen team. I won't be there this coming Sunday I don't think, depends on how things go, but I should be there for the Friday after.
